The mourning doves are in the palm tree
Squirrels in their nest
The tree is resting
The sky is hazy white
Where has the blue bird gone
A leaning ponytail palm
A monster has chewed on the sunflower leaves
The white rose doesn’t like those brown tipped leaves
The dog just shakes her ears
It’s cloudy
No sun umbrella needed
If there was a clothesline pointless
To hang out wet ones
The wee house wrens are chattering
There was no funeral for the killer caterpillars dressed in black before
They are grey in their graveyard

When the peanuts disappeared
